Tree Give-Away

Sat. April 11th Is Post Falls Tree Giveaway

9am-2pm down at the Q’emiln Park boat launch parking lot. Area residents can receive up to three free trees per household. We will publish a list of trees offered as soon as it is available.

2015 Veteran of the Year Nominations are being accepted.

Forms must be received by April 17, 2015.
The award will be presented to the Veteran of the Year at the  May 25 Memorial Day program.

E-Recycle

E-Recycling and National Drug Take-Back events.

Sat., April 25th - 9am to 2pm at Post Falls City Hall. Bring in unused prescription drugs to be disposed of by the Police Dept. Drop off TVs, computers, cell phones, any electronic items to be recycled. We’ll be handing out free grocery bags, Garbage/Recycling calendar, energy saving light bulbs, and toy mini toters.

City Spring Clean-up Day Sat., April 25th.

Put items at the street by 6:30am for garbage pickup. All items must be bagged, bundled or in a garbage toter. Items cannot exceed 4 ft X 4 ft. No furniture, tires, concrete, brick, or hazardous material. Appliances picked up by appointment only. Call 208-457-1820 (No refrigerated appliances).

County To Hold Public Meeting For Hazard Mitigation

 The Kootenai County Office of Emergency Management will hold a public meeting (open house) at the Kootenai County Administration Building, Conference Room 1A & 1B, March 31st from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Info: Office of Emergency Management
