Labor Day
Press Release: In observance of Labor Day, Post Falls City Hall and City business offices will be closed Monday, September 5th. Police, fire and rescue services for life-threatening or in-progress emergencies can be reached by calling 911. The Police Dept. will be open for walk-in emergencies. For Water Dept. emergencies call 773-3517. There will be no trash pickup on Labor Day. Following the holiday, trash pickup will fall one day late and return to normal pickup schedule on the following Monday.
The Snow Berm Reduction Program application is now available for winter 2016-17. Please return the signed form by the deadline, November 1, 2016, for a guaranteed marker. If you have any questions, please call 208-773-1722.
No Lifeguard
Press Release: Sunday, August 21st, will be the last day lifeguards will be on duty at the beach in Q’emiln Park. Lifeguards will not be on duty Labor Day weekend. The unguarded beach swimming area will remain open until the
Post Falls dam coffer gates are opened by Avista.

Road Closures:
There will be intermittent lane closures on Compton Street (Seltice to 7th), 7th Avenue (Compton to Henry) and Henry Street (7th to Seltice) from 8/01-10/03 for construction. Closures will be as needed during the 7th Avenue Improvement Project. This will not be a full closure, and traffic control will be routing traffic when closures are needed.

Poleline Avenue will be closed at the intersections of Walnut Street, Compton Street & Catherine Street, 8/22 - 9/02 from 8:30am - 2:30pm for construction. The lane closures will be happening on various days (not all at the same time).
