    The Post Falls Police Department and Kootenai County Fire and Rescue are partnering to sponsor a mobile food bank distribution with Second Harvest Inland Northwest.
    Free produce, nutritious perishable products, and other groceries for ALL families in need of food assistance.  This event is open to the public, and there is no appointment needed.

  • Residential Clean-Up Day

    Post Falls Sanitation will be doing a city-wide pickup for one day only:

    • Items must be placed at the street by 6:30am
    • All items must be bagged, bundled or in the garbage toter
    • Items must not exceed 4 ft. in length and 4 ft. in width
    • Furniture, tires, concrete, brick or hazardous material will NOT be picked up
    • Appliances will be picked up by appointment only, excluding refrigerators & air conditioners. To schedule appliance pickup call Post Falls Sanitation at (208) 457-1820.
  • E-Recycle, Shredding & Drug Take Back Day

    E-RECYCLE: Drop off your old electronics including computers, printers, monitors and all electronic gadgets.
    MEDICATION TURN-IN: Bring in your old unused prescriptions and medications for safe disposal by the Police Dept.
    PAPER SHREDDING: Paper shredding services provided by Mountain West Bank from 10am to 1pm.
    We’re handing out FREE insulated grocery bags, sprout pencils, and recycling calendars.
