Recycling is available to residents through Post Falls Sanitation.
Customers are able to recycle 21 different items co-mingled in one 96-gallon blue cart on a bi-weekly basis. This is in addition to the weekly garbage collection.

This is the easiest and most efficient way to recycle.

Post Falls Recycling Project

The City received a $5,000 grant from Post Falls Sanitation to promote recycling and to find ways to lessen the impact on our landfills. The City used the grant funds to encourage recycling of paper, plastic and aluminum cans by making recycle bins and reusable grocery bags available to citizens at the city hall campus.
Recycling bins were installed at City Hall, including 2 recycling bins outside City Hall for aluminum cans and 3 recycling bins in the rotunda for newspapers, plastic bottles and aluminum cans.

The City hosts annual e-Recycling Event at City Hall where area residents can drop off their TVs, computers, cellphones and other electronic items to be recycled.
Most current e-recycle news.

The City provides free insulated bags and other recycling favors to citizens upon request.
