The We Value Post Falls Strategic Plan 2013-2017 is an internal action plan for the City of Post Falls that reflects the top priorities of the community for a five-year timeframe.  The plan was adopted by the City Council in February 2013.  The Strategic Plan establishes a vision for our future, provides clear direction for reaching our goals, and establishes priorities and measurable targets that the City can budget around and track.

The City’s Strategic Plan is a "living document" that can be easily updated and utilized on a daily basis by staff to track projects and implementation strategies, set annual goals, establish budgets, evaluate Levels of Service, and ensure that we are meeting the ongoing expectations of our citizens.  The plan will be used by staff and city officials to help make strategic decisions in our investments, spending, partnerships, services, and day-to-day operations during the 5-year planning timeframe.

As part of our commitment to meet the needs of the community and be transparent, the city will provide a review of our accomplishments over a 12-month timeframe that will be documented in an Annual Accomplishments Report. Additionally, a “Progress Report” will be available on the City’s website by summer 2014, which will provide more frequent reporting on our implementation of the plan.

We are pleased to report that the City has successfully completed the first year of implementing the Strategic Plan
