The primary function of this position is to perform complex and responsible duties in the management and security of evidence in police investigations and perform clerical services as needed.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalency and two (2) years’ experience in a law enforcement setting. Knowledge of methods, tools, techniques, and objectives of evidence preservation, accounting, and preparation as well as current office procedures and practice is required. Starting wage is $17.26 per hour with an excellent benefit package.

The City of Post Falls is accepting applications for a full-time Park Construction Supervisor to perform administrative, planning, supervisory, and construction duties associated with managing the City’s Park System. Duties include site development, construction and maintenance, budget maintenance, and customer service functions as well as training and supervising Park Construction Workers.  
Minimum requirements: a minimum of three (3) years experience working in landscape or park maintenance with an extensive construction background. Bachelor’s degree in Park and Recreation Administration preferred; Valid Driver’s License with Class B CDL and air brake endorsement, First Aid and CPR certification, and CPI Certified Playground Inspector required w/in first 6 months of hire.  Position is subject to Drug Testing.  $17.74/hour plus an excellent benefits package.  

Park Construction Supervisor

Position: Emergency Communications Officer (E.C.O.)

ECO duties include: Answering incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching police officers, operating teletype computer, two-way radio & performing receptionist duties for the PD.  Employees in this position must have the ability to work under stressful conditions, communicate effectively, good typing and clerical skills and experience working with the public.  Familiarity with city locations is necessary.  Emergency Communications Officers for the City of Post Falls work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.  Applicants must be available for all days and shifts. Starting wage is $15.98 PH and shift differential and competitive benefit package. EOE.

The City of Post Falls is looking for a talented Public Services Director to manage the activities and operations of Community Development, Street and Facility Maintenance, and Water and Reclamation Divisions and be a supportive leader that can encourage and recommend creative solutions to City staff. The Director must have extensive knowledge and experience in diverse areas of the public sector and be hardworking and approachable by City staff and community.
The  Director  is  responsible  for  contact  with  citizens,  elected  officials, officials from other agencies and organizations, and community leaders along with providing professional staff support, advice, and technical assistance to the City Administrator, Planning and Zoning Commission, Mayor and Council.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with extensive administrative experience in Public Works, Engineering, Planning, Utility services or related area and a minimum of five  (5)  years  management  and  leadership  experience.  Monthly  wage
range: $7230 - $10,781 plus an excellent benefits package.

Public Services Director

Position: Youth Flag Football Official

Officiate at Flag Football games for grades K-4th in a public sports field environment. Duties include, but not limited to, officiating games, ensuring safety of field/play and ensuring proper care of the program/facility. The position is under the direct supervision of a Recreation Supervisor or Recreation Coordinator, although some latitude is allowed for independent judgment and initiative.
Schedule for this position is Saturdays from 8am to 4pm and some weeknights from 5:30pm to 8:00pm September 6th through October 18th at various field locations in Post Falls.
Must be at least 14 years old to apply. Sport officiating experience; ability to communicate effectively; physical ability to keep up with flow of the game. CPR desired. Starting Wage $7.75 - $12 PH DOE. No benefits.

Youth Flag Football Official
