The City of Post Falls is accepting applications for Seasonal full-time Streets
Workers in our Street/Fleet Divisions. The position performs skilled maintenance and service work on City streets and right-of-ways. Employees may operate a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment, hand and power tools as well as lawn and yard equipment and perform minor routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance on vehicles. This position works primarily in the Street Maintenance Division.
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; One (1) year experience in street construction, maintenance, or related field, with emphasis on operating heavy equipment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. Must be able to respond on-call within 30 minutes. Possession of Class CDL is mandatory with the ability to obtain a tanker endorsement preferred. This position is subject to Pre-employment and Random Drug Testing. Wage is $10.77 per hour. No Benefits

Position: Emergency Communications Officer (E.C.O.)

ECO duties include: Answering incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching police officers, operating teletype computer, two-way radio & performing receptionist duties for the PD.  Employees in this position must have the ability to work under stressful conditions, communicate effectively, good typing and clerical skills and experience working with the public.  Familiarity with city locations is necessary.  Emergency Communications Officers for the City of Post Falls work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.  Applicants must be available for all days and shifts. Starting wage is $15.98 PH and shift differential and competitive benefit package. EOE.
