Q: If I live outside the City of Post Falls, can I still register?
Yes, residents who live outside of the city limits of Post Falls are encouraged to participate in all programs; however, fees for “nonresidents” are higher than those for “residents” for many of our programs and classes. Non-residents do not pay property taxes that support City services. Boundaries used by the Post Office, the Post Falls School District, and the Post Falls Fire District are not the same as city limit boundaries, so even though you may have a Post Falls mailing address, you may be considered a non-resident. If you need help determining whether you live inside or outside the city limits, please call our office at (208)773-0539, or stop by and view our city boundary annexation map.

Q: How can I get a copy of the Activity Guide?
City of Post Falls Residents are mailed a copy automatically 4 times a year. Copies are also available at various locations in Post Falls including the City Library and City Hall. A copy of the Activity Guide can be viewed or down loaded at www.postfallsidaho.org.

Q: Can I enroll at the first class?
No. Pre-registration is required for all programs but late registrations will be accepted for most available programs using standard registration methods. However, please note that late registration is discouraged, since some programs will not run if minimum participant numbers are not met.

Q: My Child is not in the age range. Are there exceptions?
These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You will need to contact the program’s supervisor for approval. Please call (208)773-0539

Q: Can I go to a program if I am on the wait list?
No. You need to wait until your enrollment is confirmed before attending.

Q: Why wasn’t I able to register for a program?
This software system is new to us and we are still working through some kinks! If you encounter a problem, please contact us at (208)773-0539 so we may investigate and correct the error.
Some common errors include:
• Program is not available for registration at this time –This error may occur because this particular program may not be open for registration. Another reason for this error is that the program Start date may have passed and registration online cannot be taken for certain programs after the start date. Please call us for more details in this case.
• Age requirement not met –The client must be the stated age at the start of the program to be enrolled. If the client is the right age but is still prevented from registering, it is possible that we have an incorrect date of birth.

Q: My Credit Card Transaction is showing as pending. Am I enrolled in the program?
The online registration process holds your spot in the program pending credit card approval. If your card is denied you will be contacted by the registration office. If an alternate form of payment is not provided at that time, your enrollment will be withdrawn.
