Mayor Ronald G. Jacobson
37th Mayor of the City of Post Falls

Mayor Jacobson was first appointed to the City Council in 1999 and elected in 2000. He served three terms in Council Seat 2 and as Council President from 2012 to 2014. January 2014  he was elected to his first term as Mayor. He currently serves on the City’s Industrial Development Corporation. He has served on the Post Falls Parks & Recreation Commission and the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency.

He attended North Idaho College and received a B.S. in Accounting from University of Idaho. He moved to Post Falls in 1980 from Coeur d’Alene. He is a Senior Vice President at bankcda in Coeur d’Alene. Ron and his wife Susan have four children, one daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren.
